OF THE WORLD BY PEOPLE MOBILE APPLICATION

If you (hereinafter referred to as the “User”) install and use the World By People mobile application (hereinafter referred to as the “Application”), the Company requests information necessary and sufficient to ensure the proper, stable, and secure operation of the Application, as well as to provide its functionality.

The Company respects the confidentiality of the information provided by the User and undertakes to protect it in accordance with the provisions of this Privacy Policy, international standards in the field of personal data protection, and applicable legislation, including the laws of the European Union and other applicable rules of international law.

Before installing and using the World By People mobile application, it is strongly recommended that you carefully review this Privacy Policy and the rules governing the use of the Application in order to understand the principles, rules, and practices related to the processing of User information, as well as the procedures for its collection, use, storage, and protection.

1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

This Policy applies to the download, installation, registration, and any use of the Application and governs the relationship between the owner and administrator of the World By People Application (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) and an individual who is a user of the Application (hereinafter referred to as the “User”) with regard to the processing of information that the Company receives from or about the User.

For the purposes of this Policy, the processing of personal data shall mean any actions (operations) performed with personal data, including but not limited to: collection, recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification (updating, modification), use, distribution (including cross-border transfer), anonymization, blocking, and destruction of personal data.

The processing of personal data is carried out using automated means, Internet-based data transmission technologies, as well as mixed methods of processing.

This Policy applies exclusively to the World By People mobile application.

The Company does not control and is not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or data processing practices of third-party websites, services, and applications that the User may access through links placed within the Application.

By registering in the Application and using its functionality, the User voluntarily, on their own initiative and in their own interests, provides their personal data and other information, thereby confirming their acceptance of the terms of this Policy and the User Agreement.

The provided personal data may be modified, updated, or supplemented by the User independently through the functionality of the Application, unless otherwise restricted by technical or legal limitations.

As a general rule, the Company does not verify the accuracy of the personal information provided by the User.

The Company assumes that the User provides accurate, up-to-date, and sufficient information and maintains such information in an up-to-date condition while using the Application.

The Company takes necessary and sufficient organizational, technical, and legal measures to protect the User’s personal and other information from unauthorized or accidental access, destruction, modification, blocking, copying, distribution, as well as from other unlawful actions by third parties, in accordance with applicable legislation and international standards in the field of personal data protection.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

The Company collects information about Users of the World By People Application automatically and directly during the use of the Application, as well as in cases where the User independently provides such information during registration, profile setup, and use of the functionality of the Application.

The functionality of the World By People Application involves the use of the User’s location data.

During the use of the Application, the Company may collect and process geolocation data of the User, including:

When downloading, installing, accessing, and using the World By People Application, the Company uses automated information collection and processing technologies, as well as mechanisms for the direct provision of data by the User, in order to collect certain types of information.

Information is collected to the extent necessary to ensure the proper, stable, and secure operation of the Application, the implementation of its functionality, and the fulfillment of the Company’s obligations to the User.

The processing of information by such third parties is carried out in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable legislation.

Analyzing the use of the Application, conducting statistical and analytical research, testing, improving, and optimizing the functionality of the Application, and enhancing the quality and stability of its operation.

Displaying informational, partner-related, service-related, and other materials connected with the functioning and development of the Application, integration with partner services, and functionality of the Application, in compliance with applicable legislation.

4.3

The Company does not disclose the User’s personal information to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes without an appropriate legal basis provided by applicable law or without the User’s consent, except in cases involving anonymized or aggregated information.

5. ACCESS, MODIFICATION, AND DELETION OF USER PERSONAL INFORMATION

5.1

The User has the right at any time to view, modify, and update the personal information provided by them by logging into the World By People Application and using the functionality of the personal profile, unless otherwise limited by technical or legal restrictions.

The User has the right to delete their account in the Application through the functionality provided by the Application or by sending a corresponding request to the Company.

Deletion of the User’s account means termination of the User’s access to their profile and the functionality of the Application.

Deletion of the User’s account does not always result in the automatic deletion of all materials and information previously uploaded by the User.

6. DATA SECURITY

6.1

The Company takes necessary and sufficient organizational, technical, and legal measures aimed at ensuring the security of Users’ personal and other information against accidental loss, unlawful or unauthorized access, use, modification, disclosure, blocking, copying, and destruction.

6.2

Information provided by Users of the World By People Application is stored and processed using secure infrastructure, servers, and information systems, including the use of firewalls, encryption tools, access control measures, and other technologies designed to ensure data security.

6.3

The security and protection of the User’s information also depend on the actions of the User.

The User is advised to ensure proper protection of their mobile device, including the use of passwords, biometric authentication methods, and other available security measures, as well as to prevent third parties from accessing their device and account.

6.4

The Company recommends that the User exercise caution when using the Application on open or public networks and on publicly accessible devices. Information transmitted or displayed under such conditions may become accessible to other Users of the Application or third parties.

Despite the Company’s implementation of reasonable and appropriate security measures, the transmission of information over the Internet and mobile platforms cannot be completely secure.

The Company cannot guarantee the absolute security of data transmitted by the User through the World By People Application, and the User acknowledges that any transmission of information is carried out at their own risk.

The Company shall not be liable for actions by Users or third parties aimed at circumventing security measures, privacy settings, or protective mechanisms implemented within the Application, nor for the consequences of such actions.

7. AGE RESTRICTIONS AND DATA OF MINORS

7.1

The World By People mobile application is not intended for use by persons under the age of 16.

The Company does not knowingly collect personal data from persons under the age of 16.

If the Company becomes aware that personal data has been provided by a person under the age of 16 without the consent of a legal representative in cases where such consent is required by applicable law, the Company has the right to delete such information, restrict access to the Application, or delete the corresponding account.

By using the World By People Application, the User confirms that they are at least 16 years old or have obtained the necessary consent of a legal representative, where permitted by applicable law.

8. CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY

8.1

The Company reserves the right to make changes and amendments to this Privacy Policy at any time without obtaining separate consent from the User, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

The current version of the Privacy Policy is published within the World By People Application and, where applicable, on the Company’s official information resources.

The date of the latest update to the Privacy Policy shall be indicated at the top of the document.

Users are advised to periodically review the current version of the Privacy Policy in order to remain informed about any changes and amendments made thereto.

Continued use of the World By People Application after changes to this Privacy Policy have been made constitutes the User’s acceptance of such changes and the updated version of the Policy.

If the User does not agree with changes to the terms governing the collection, processing, and use of personal and other information, the User has the right to discontinue use of the Application and remove the World By People Application from their mobile device unilaterally.

By registering in the World By People Application and using its functionality, the User confirms and guarantees that they will not use the Application for purposes contrary to applicable law, generally accepted standards of morality, or public order, including but not limited to:

The World By People Application may provide the User with functionality for managing privacy settings and display parameters of information, including settings related to profile visibility, user content, and certain activity elements.

The User also has the right to restrict the receipt of certain informational notifications and messages in accordance with the functionality provided by the Application.

9.4

Users of the World By People Application may report to the Company any content that, in their opinion, violates applicable law, the rights of third parties, the User Agreement, or other rules governing the use of the Application.

In the event of any discrepancies, inconsistencies, or differences in interpretation between the English version of this Privacy Policy and its translations into other languages, the English version shall prevail unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Downloading, registering for, and using the World By People mobile application in any part thereof constitutes the User’s acceptance of the terms and conditions set forth in this Privacy Policy.

If the User does not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, the User must discontinue use of the Application and remove the World By People Application from their mobile device.
